RCC Forklift Operator Safety Training

Description
Meets OSHA safety regulations for industry. The course contains both classroom and hands-on applications of safe forklift operation techniques, giving an operator safety card which is good for 3 years. Additional on-the-job training will be needed from your employer to operate your specific forklift(s) there and site-specific hazards and tasks. Tuition is $155.

Dr. Harry W. Smedes Memorial Scholarship

Every year the Redwood Safety Association offers a scholarship for someone to attend the  Southern Oregon Occupational Safety & Health Conference. The Dr. Harry W. Smedes Memorial Scholarship is in memory of a man who dedicated himself to promoting safety through education, training and action. We proudly sponsor the conference every year and many of our board members and members spend hours working on the conference to make it a success. Oregon OSHA Virtual Workshops

Please note that there is NO COST to attend these virtual workshops.
 
To register on Oregon OSHA’s website, please log in to your student account or create a new account and register for the workshop(s) of your choice. A few weeks before the workshop, Angelina Cox will send registrants an email with additional information on what virtual platform we will be using for the workshop along with any required steps in the registration process. IMPORTANT: We must have 5 registered participants before we can host any virtual workshop.
