Dr. Harry W. Smedes Memorial Scholarship

Every year the Redwood Safety Association offers a scholarship for someone to attend the Southern Oregon Occupational Safety & Health Conference. The Dr. Harry W. Smedes Memorial Scholarship is in memory of a man who dedicated himself to promoting safety through education, training and action. We proudly sponsor the conference every year and many of our board members and members spend hours working on the conference to make it a success. Please note that there is NO COST to attend workshops.
To register on Oregon OSHA’s website, please log in to your student account or create a new account and register for the workshop(s) of your choice. All registered participants will receive a confirmation email. For virtual workshops, instructions on how to join the virtual platform will be provided two weeks prior to the workshop.
A minimum of five registrants is required to continue to host a workshop. In the event a workshop is canceled, all registrants will be notified via email. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Angelina Cox at [email protected] or 503-947-7443. Thank you!
