Dr. Harry W. Smedes Memorial Scholarship
The Redwood Safety Association in Josephine County, Oregon is pleased to announce that it will offer one Scholarship to attend the Southern Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Conference in October. This scholarship is awarded in memory of Dr. Harry W. Smedes, Professor of Geology.
Dr. Smedes was a presenter and frequently shared his knowledge at Redwood Safety Association meetings. He was a strong advocate for workplace safety and especially for emergency preparedness.
